NOT YOUR STNDRD STUDIO

Welcome to THE STNDRD — a purpose-built, two-level training space designed to elevate every type of mover. From high-energy HIIT sessions to strength-focused training, personal training, Hyrox training and even a dedicated creche for parents, every detail of our gym is crafted to support your lifestyle. This goes beyond any gym or group fitness class you’ve seen before.

Strength Floor

As soon as you walk in, you’re met with an atmosphere built for purpose. Our ground level is dedicated purely to strength and muscle development. Anchored by a freestanding rig running through the centre of the space, the heart of our training floor and home to all key compound lifts. This is where squats, presses, pulls, and heavy work get done with intent, structure, and progression at the core of everything we run.

Surrounding the rig is a large selection of Hammer Strength and Life Fitness machines, tools most studios simply don’t offer in a coached, group-training environment. Our machine selection allows us to coach beginners through strict, controlled movement patterns with confidence. Complemented with cable stations and free-weight equipment the space is open, clean and designed for flow. Finished with our signature dark aesthetic and aqua neon lighting, the space is immersive, focused, and built to keep you dialled in.

It’s a strength floor built for confidence, focus, and real results — not chaos, not guesswork, just elite training done right. Fully air-conditioned and fan-cooled, ensuring a comfortable training environment without compromising intensity.

Conditioning Floor

Upstairs, the energy intensifies. Our Conditioning Floor is where heart rates rise, engines are built, and conditioning takes centre stage. Purpose-built for Hyrox training, this level is designed to maximise performance across cardio, conditioning, boxing, and high-intensity sessions — with treadmills, rowers, SkiErgs, assault bikes, heavy bags, sled tracks, and open zones that allow sessions to flow at pace.

The space is complemented by a four-man wall-mounted rig for barbell complexes and strength elements layered into conditioning work, alongside free-weight equipment that supports fast, functional movement. Unlike the dark, neon-lit strength floor below, Level Two leans into a raw, industrial factory feel — exposed concrete, open space, and an atmosphere that feels gritty, honest, and built to work.

This floor also transforms seamlessly for our flow-based sessions, including mat Pilates and yoga, giving members space to slow things down, move well, and recover with intent. Fully air-conditioned and fan-cooled, both floors are designed to keep the environment comfortable and controlled — so no matter how hard the session goes, the focus stays on performance.

Supervised Creche

We’re proud to be a family-friendly training space. Our supervised creche allows parents to train knowing their children are safe and cared for, while our school holiday programs help families stay consistent even during busy holiday periods.

Leg Day

STRENGTH

Leg Day is one of the cornerstone sessions of our strength program and consistently one of the most popular days of the week.

This session is designed to build lower-body strength while supporting muscle development, shape and tone through a structured blend of compound and accessory movements, with a focus on quad-dominant patterns. The goal is to build strength, improve movement quality and support long-term progression, not just fatigue.

Coaches guide every session, providing clear demonstrations, technical cues, and appropriate progressions or regressions to ensure each athlete trains safely and effectively, regardless of experience level.

This is a high-demand session, so bookings are recommended.

Lower Day

STRENGTH

Lower Day focuses on developing strength and control through the posterior chain, with an emphasis on the glutes, hamstrings and core.

This session is designed to improve hip strength, stability, and movement efficiency while supporting muscle development, shape, and tone through the lower body. Targeted core work is layered throughout the session to strengthen the midsection, improve core control, and support a strong, stable, and firm foundation.

While complementary to Leg Day, the intent here is more targeted — reinforcing posterior-chain strength and core control to support performance, balance and injury resilience.

Coaches provide clear instruction, movement coaching and appropriate progressions to ensure athletes train with good technique and confidence throughout the session.

Upper Day

STRENGTH

Upper Day focuses on building balanced strength through the chest and back using foundational push and pull movements.

The session primarily targets the chest and back, with supporting work for the shoulders, biceps and triceps to ensure well-rounded upper-body development and joint balance. Programming is structured to reinforce strong movement patterns, controlled loading and long-term progression.

Coaches provide clear demonstrations, technical cues, and individualised adjustments to help each athlete train safely, confidently and effectively.

Arm Day

STRENGTH

Arm Day is the best way to finish the week, with a focused session designed to build strength while supporting muscle definition, shape and tone through the shoulders and arms.

The session targets the shoulders, biceps, and triceps using a structured mix of compound and accessory movements. Programming is varied week to week to promote balanced muscular development, improve movement quality, and support long-term strength progress.

Coaches provide clear demonstrations, technical guidance, and individual adjustments to help each athlete train with intent, confidence, and consistency.

HYROX Engine

CARDIO

A conditioning-focused session targeting aerobic and lactate threshold capacity.
Longer intervals on machines and simple movements designed to improve endurance, efficiency, and
sustainable race pacing.

Hybrid Conditioning

HYBRID

Hybrid Conditioning is a fast-paced, functional conditioning class built around three focused 10-minute training blocks. Each block uses a different training format—such as AMRAP, EMOM, ladders or for-time workouts—to keep every session varied, engaging and challenging.

Programming combines barbells, dumbbells, erg machines and bodyweight movements to build work capacity, strength endurance and overall fitness. With simple movement patterns, an open timer and scalable workouts, the focus is on moving with purpose, maintaining intensity and getting the most from every session.

Whether you’re looking to improve your engine, build your conditioning or simply enjoy the challenge of a tough workout, Hybrid Conditioning is designed to leave you fitter, stronger and walking out with that post-session feeling that keeps you coming back.

HYROX Power

CARDIO

A conditioning-focused session targeting aerobic and lactate threshold capacity.
Longer intervals on machines and simple movements designed to improve endurance, efficiency, and
sustainable race pacing.

HYROX Training

CARDIO

A structured HYROX training session designed to meet athletes where they’re at — from first-timers to race-ready competitors.

This class blends foundational conditioning, movement education, and progressive intensity with full HYROX-style station sequencing. Athletes learn pacing, technique, and efficient transitions while building strength, endurance, and confidence under fatigue.

Cardio Conditioning

CARDIO

A structured conditioning class combining erg-based intervals and aerobic work with HYROX-style movements.

Athletes develop engine capacity, pacing, and efficiency through rowing, SkiErg, bike, and treadmill work, layered with simple, scalable strength and conditioning stations.

Designed for mixed abilities, the session builds a strong aerobic base while preparing athletes for the
demands of HYROX-style racing and high-volume conditioning.

BOXING/FIGHT FITNESS

CARDIO

Our Boxing sessions cater to all experience levels — from first-time glove wearers to those ready for high-speed, high-skill work. Sessions focus on developing strong fundamentals while progressively layering in more advanced elements, allowing members to build confidence, coordination, and conditioning at their own pace.

Boxing Skills & Fundamentals classes break down proper stance, footwork, defence, and punch technique, teaching how to link basic movements into smooth, dynamic combinations while building strength, agility, and fight-ready conditioning. For those ready to push further, Advanced Boxing turns up the intensity with complex combos, pad work, reactive drills, and fast-paced rounds that demand sharp thinking, quick reactions, and strong retention of numbers and sequences. Whether you’re learning the basics or sharpening advanced skills, our boxing sessions are coached with intent — challenging, engaging, and built to level you up.

Oly Lifts

STRENGTH

Oly Lifts at The STNDRD focuses on mastering the Olympic lifts — the Snatch, the Clean, and the Jerk.
Each session breaks the lifts down into drills and progressions, including pulls, power variations, jerks, and overhead work, before building into structured working sets.
Suitable for all levels — whether you’re brand new to Olympic lifting or looking to refine advanced technique. Progressions and regressions are provided every step of the way to help you build skill, confidence, and power under the bar.
